I recently had the pleasure of photographing the talented Mr. Rob Grad at The Garage which includes The Vibe recording studio (a musician's wonderland).  Neat stuff!

I just saw this video on my friend Lauren's blog (sweetmagnoliaphoto.com/blog).  So very cool.  Artistry at its best and surely most patient?  Must watch.  

...go about planning their own wedding after photographing hundreds of other beautiful weddings?  How do I narrow down the incredible abundance of themes and ideas that I love so dearly, but sadly am unable to incorporate them ALL?  This is quite a dilemma!  You would think it easier for one in the biz, but I'm not so sure.  It's a matter of information overload.  The amazing venues, the talented wedding vendors, the colors, flavors, and overall atmospheres to sift through...  *sigh*  Sooo thankful we have the Weddings by Socialites team to keep us focused!  

Since quite a few have shown interest in my wedding plans, I'm going to touch on my own planning highlights here and there.  Hope you all don't mind me dragging you along for the ride!

The Chatham Bars Inn had this beautiful grand gathering room. Its glass pendant chandeliers created the coolest patterns on the ceiling. I think it mirrors the patterns in the wind blown sand on the beach.

Snow on a beach is just weird. :P And quite pretty.

Shannon and David had a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Ritz in Sarasota.  Many of David's friends and family from Italy flew in to make the event extra special for both of them.  I love the shade of green Shannon chose for the girls' dresses and the way it complemented the lawn setting while contrasting nicely with the punchy flowers.  All around a gorgeous event for a gorgeous couple!
